How does AI Clip Cutter pick the best moments from my video?
- Your audio is transcribed by OpenAI Whisper with word-level timestamps. A deterministic pass then cuts the transcript into candidate windows of 18 to 75 seconds that may only start after a full stop or a pause of at least 0.55 seconds, so no clip opens mid-thought, and it keeps up to 48 candidates spread evenly across the whole timeline rather than only the opening minutes. GPT-4o scores every candidate from 0 to 10 on information density, emotional tone, self-containedness and hook potential, combined as 30% hook, 25% self-contained, 25% density and 20% emotion. It then picks the best non-overlapping set and writes a plain-English reason for each choice, which is shown beside the clip so you can judge it and override the trim. Clip boundaries are snapped outward to the nearest word edge and padded by 0.75 seconds so no word is ever cut in half.
How many minutes of video can I upload per month?
- Creator covers about 175 minutes of source video plus 25 clip exports, Pro about 400 minutes plus 50 exports, and Studio about 880 minutes — 14.5 hours — plus 120 exports. Those are guides, not separate limits: credits are one pool, and you spend 1 credit per minute of source video analysed and 1 credit per clip you export. A 45-minute podcast that yields 4 exported clips costs 49 credits. There is no per-plan cap on how long a single video may be; the only hard limit is the 1 GB upload size, and audio longer than roughly 1 hour 45 minutes is automatically split into chunks for transcription and stitched back onto one timeline.
What caption styles are available?
- Eight burned-in presets: Hormozi, Beast, Karaoke, Minimal, Boxed, Neon, Podcast and Bounce. All of them highlight the spoken word in real time — the active word recolours, and depending on the preset also scales, bounces or fills karaoke-style — because captions are built locally from Whisper's word timestamps rather than guessed by a model. Each preset controls its own font stack, stroke weight, colours and words per line, and you can anchor captions at the bottom, centre or top with safe-area margins that stay clear of the TikTok and Reels action rail. Keyword emphasis, which recolours money, numbers and emphasised words, is on for Hormozi and Beast. Caption burn-in needs an FFmpeg build with libass; without it clips still export, just without captions, and the studio shows you how to fix it.
Do exported clips have a watermark?
- No. There is no watermarking step anywhere in the render pipeline, on any tier, including the free credits you get at signup. Every export is your cut, reframed to the format you chose, with your chosen captions burned in and nothing else added.
Can I get captions in Hindi and other Indian languages?
- Yes for the captions themselves. Whisper auto-detects and transcribes many languages including Hindi, and the detected language is stored with the job, so Hindi and Hinglish speech produces Hindi captions with the same word-level timing as English. Two honest caveats. The scoring and hook-writing prompts are written in English and behave best on English or heavily code-switched speech — that is a documented limitation, not a claim we want to oversell. And the caption presets list Latin display faces such as Anton, Montserrat and Poppins, so Devanagari and other non-Latin scripts render in whatever font your render host substitutes unless a matching family is installed. Full parity for moment selection in Indian languages is on the roadmap, not shipped.
Is pricing billed in INR or USD?
- Every charge is in Indian rupees through Razorpay, so you can pay by UPI, RuPay, Visa or Mastercard, net banking or wallet. Prices are set in INR — ₹399, ₹899 and ₹1,999 a month — and the dollar figures shown on this page are an approximate conversion of that rupee amount at ₹88 to the dollar, for reference only. The amount that reaches your card or UPI app is always the rupee figure. Opus Clip, Klap and SubMagic all bill in USD with no Indian payment rails, so Indian creators pay the full dollar rate plus their bank's foreign-exchange markup.
What resolution and aspect ratios do exports support?
- Four output formats: 9:16 with a blurred zoomed copy of your video filling the background, which is the default and never crops the speaker out of frame; 9:16 centre-cropped; 1:1 square; and Original, which passes the source resolution straight through. The three reframing formats render at 1080×1920 or 1080×1080, encoded as H.264 high profile at CRF 20 with 128 kbps AAC audio and faststart for instant web playback. There is no 4K reframing preset: a 4K source exported as Original stays 4K, but a vertical or square export is 1080p. There is also no face tracking yet, which is exactly why the blurred-background 9:16 format is the default rather than the crop.
