Every one of these tools works from a transcript. Nothing here understands video visually — the clip boundaries come from what was said and when. That means all four are strongest on talking-head content: podcasts, interviews, webinars, panels, lectures. None of them will find a good moment in a silent screen recording.
Burned-in captions, not sidecar files
